Description: Great Hollow Lake by Amy Valiante 12x12 Landscape Art Print PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Great Hollow Lake by Amy Valiante 12x12 Landscape Art Print Poster Painting This painting was inspired by my current town's lake called "Great Hollow Lake" in Monroe Connecticut. There is a nice 3/4 mile walking trail all the way around the lake enjoyed by many. Acrylic paints, brushwork was worked in multiple layers. Sky, clouds, lake with trees then foreground with fence were painted in that order. A light sketch with watered down acrylics was started with. Clouds were gently touched with paint and dry bristle brush with circular strokes. Grass was painted with a short upward bristle brushstrokes toward the final stages of finishing the piece.
