Description: This is a vintage third print poster (approx. 14" x 20", and printed very shorty after the shows by Chet Helms. This is an authorized printing of this poster, not some later reprint or bootleg), promoting a series of shows featuring the Grateful Dead & Oxford Circle. These shows took place November 4 & 5, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. This classic sixties psychedelic image, "LOGO", was designed by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley, and is the 33rd image in the Family Dog series. The poster has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in EXCELLENT/FLAWLESS condition, and would make a very nice substitute for the much more expensive first print ($3,000).
