The shape at the bottom of the cavity will cause a recessed center portion in the glass to rest a 1" and larger marble in. You may be able to come up with additional uses for this handy little tool as well. Approximately 2-3/8" Dia. x 15/16" Long, top of the cavity flairs out to approximately 1-7/8" Dia. and 3/8" deep. Great for glass blowing, molds, and precious metals molds, etc. Graphite is easy to machine, but very dirty and abrasive to tools and machines. Graphite uniquely withstands great temperatures as well.
