Description: Grand Stand and Paddock Spring 1942 Admission Ticket (6, #8050) - This is quite a nifty little collectible from 80+ years ago for any Horse Racing collector. It measures approx. 3" x 3 1/2" and appears to still contain the original hanging string. It is in Very Good condition. I am NOT able to determine what event this Admission Ticket was used for to enter. It lists the Harford Agricultural and Breeders Association Maryland on the top front side. From some research, it may have been for the Havre de Grace Racetrack in Maryland where Man O' War and Citation ran during their careers but I can't say for certain. The front side has some wear and rounding at the bottom left- and right-hand corners, there is a scratch in the "D" in "Paddock", there is some discoloration to the left and right of "6", there is a small blemish in the "Y" in "Maryland"; the back side top center edge has an approx. 1" crease that extends through the "O" in "Paddock" there is an approx. 3/4" crease near "1", there is some discoloration above "$1.50", the bottom right-hand corner has some wear and paper loss.
