Description: This is the Original (1sh) 1932 GRAND HOTEL. It was used by MGM to promote this movie when it was released in 1932. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Greta Garbo, John Barrymore, Joan Crawford, Wallace Beery, Lionel Barrymore, Lewis Stone, Jean Hersholt, Robert McWade, Purnell Pratt, Ferdinand Gottschalk, Rafaela Ottiano, Morgan Wallace, Tully Marshall, Frank Conroy, Murray Kinnell, and Edwin Maxwell. It was directed by Edmund Goulding. This unrestored movie Lobby Card measures 11" x 14". It comes with an unattached stiff cardboard backing. This original movie Lobby Card is graded C6.5 Fine Plus. Original movie Lobby Cards are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. The overall appearance of this Lobby Card is very strong and is unfettered by any major flaws. And the ones that do exist are generally unobtrusive and/or along the outer border of the Lobby Card. The pin holes that appear in the boxed area that are in the image are visible but at a relative viewing distance will be unobtrusive. Restoration of the Lobby card is always an option and if you are interested in this Lobby Card and restoration, just let us know. We can do that for you or refer you to the company that we use which is very professional and they do an excellent restoration at a reasonable cost.
