They come in retail or distributor's packaging (Allparts or other distributor), depending on availability/source; the tuners are exactly the same regardless. They require 9mm headstock holes. They have the ribbed back, metal keys, press-in bushings - just like the originals. The tuning shaft is where things get interesting. The Magnum locking mechanism is built into the shaft, itself. The string locks on the post by simply tuning. A typical guitar will need a half-turn around the post to tune to pitch, which dramatically reduces tuning problems during trem work - super fast, easy string changes, as well. Since the locking mechanism is in the shaft, no extraneous machinery to spoil the vintage look, either. On top of that, they have an improved 15:1 tuning ratio for smoother tuning and feel compared to the originals.
