Gorgeous antique German, Bahr & Proschild, 19" long, 624 character baby doll

Description: Here is a darling, 19 inch long with a 13 1/2 inch circumference head, character baby doll by Bahr & Proschild. Her antique bisque sockethead is incised: B & P over crossed swords over O 624 10 Germany with beautiful, sleep blue glass eyes, an open mouth with two molded upper teeth (needs felt tongue replaced), very pronounced dimples near her mouth, very detailed molding around her temples, wide face, multi-stroke brows, upper and lower lashes, excellent creaming bisque and coloring, original high quality, jointed (Kestner-type) baby body with good detail to toes (small nick) and hands (three fingers are broken) She has a long blond, curly wig and wears a darling, antique white dotted Swiss (organdy) baby gown and adorable, antique knitted sweater coat with scalloped border. (loc 33, 3509) Her bisque is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, no damages or repairs, some finger damages as shown and described, dress has a few small age holes. Wonderful character baby doll, seldom found and a great size.
