Description: This listing is for an official GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED 1993 poster. This is the genuine item produced by Goodwood, which is a reprint of the very first Festival of Speed Poster. It is brand new and unmarked, complete with its' original tube featuring the '93 designation on the end cap. Measures approx. 20" x 30" (51 x 76 cm) and was originally painted by automotive artist Peter Hearsey, who been responsible for every poster from 1993 to 2014. Please note - you will spot a pencil signature, 'P,Hearsey' on the bottom right, and an individual number on the bottom left (1421 / 1500). These are part of the re-print and not done by hand. Don't let any seller tell you different! A dead giveaway is that the original 1993 version had a cream border, this does not. So, sought after and collectable yes, hand signed no! The bits of wood top and bottom are there to hold it flat whilst photographing it, they are not included. From a smoke free home. As a collector myself (and perfectionist!), I know the tube it is in can be an important part of the piece, so I will roll this in further cardboard to protect the tube. No postage labels will be stuck directly to the tube. Will be sent Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For (needs signature or pick up from PO if you're out), with proof of postage and a tracking number obtained.
