Description: For sale is a fine New York coin silver teaspoon by Joseph and/or John W. Blauvelt. The spoon is 5 7/8 inches long and weighs 18 grams. It has no drop, rounded shoulders and a downturned fiddle handle. The spoon is monogrammed “JEMG” on the handle front as shown. It is marked [J.B] in a rectangle with a [Bust][Eagle] trademark used by Blauvelt as shown. Condition on the spoon is very good. There are just stubborn spots and normal signs of use. It has not been buffed. A fine piece of coin silver.
