Description: This wireless door/window sensor from Golden Security is the perfect addition to any home surveillance system. With a frequency range of 433MHz/868MHZ, this sensor is designed to report whenever the monitored device opens or closes. PHYSICAL SPECS The sensor itself is medium sized - 3" x 1 1/8" x 5/8". The magnet is 1 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/2". The units are relatively unobtrusive when installed and can be painted to match your own interior colors. Note - these come from a smoke-free home in Arizona and have discoloration from sun exposure (see pictures). You will probably want to paint them before use. POWER The sensor is powered by an easily replaceable standard 1.5V AAA battery (not included). This significantly simplifies battery replacement over similar units that use custom sized or coin batteries! MOUNTING The magnet is designed to be easily mounted with two-sided tape. The sensor can uses a mounting plate (see pictures) that can be attached to a surface with screws or two-sided tape. This setup allows for easy battery replacements when needed and lets you choose whatever mounting method works best in your home. Two-sided tape not included... you can find regular strength tape at most hardware stores or order the extra strong tape through most online retailers.
