Gold Amsterdam Porcelain Demitasse Cup and Saucer Set Souvenir Netherlands Crest

Description: Listing is for 2 pieces - 1 Porcelain Espresso / Demitasse Cup in Gold with painted Amsterdam Crest / Coat of Arms and 1 matching Gold Saucer set unknown maker I cannot find the exact mark to identify the maker or origin but based on the crown, the shape of the bottom of the cup and top of the saucer, as well as comparing similar sets out there, I believe this to be Bavarian from around the 1950s. I'm not sure, but it's lovely to look at either way. The gold is striking and the light distracts from any imperfections. The cup is gold with white porcelain inside marked with more gold detail along with the Amsterdam coat of arms. This was perhaps a Souvenir item sourced by a porcelain manufacturer. The saucer is gold with white porcelain exposed where the cup would sit. A demitasse cup is traditionally used for espresso but would still make an excellent addition to any tea cup collection. It can hold up to 4 fluid oz when filled to the lip.
