Description: This is an OEM GM Holley 4 barrel carburetor that is new in the original Holley box. This car was bought new by the prior owner for a LS6 engine he planned to install in a 1970 Chevelle. Plans changed and this carb was never used or installed. The numbers stamped into the choke tower are as follows: 3967477-GG List 4557. The 3967477-GG is the GM part number. The List 4557 is the Holley part number. There is usually a date code stamped under the List number and this carb has never had one stamped. The Holley 4557 carburetor was installed by Chevrolet on the following applications: 1970 Camaro, Chevelles, and Novas with the L78 396(402)/375HP or L89 396(402)/375HP engine w/ manual trans, and 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle with the LS6 454-450HP engine with the 4 speed Muncie M22 Rockcrusher transmission.
