Description: Please read first: I am unable to ship to the following states: CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, OREGON, WASHINGTON, ARIZONA, ALASKA, NEW MEXICO, HAWAII, IDAHO, WYOMING AND NEVADA. Texas, houseplants ONLY! Alabama and Montanta, bareroot ONLY Oct-April, due to restrictions placed on incoming shipments by their Departments of Agriculture. If you purchase from these states, I will have to unfortunately cancel your order. Thanks for understanding! Giant Allium Globemaster These beautiful "Dr. Suess" looking allium are the stars of the late Spring/early Summer garden! Large purple "globes" are a beautiful look along an English garden style hedge, in a Spring bed, and even in pots. Globemaster have sturdy stems, are one of the largest in the allium family, often reaching 10" in diameter! Globemaster blooms around 2 weeks later than other allium such as Purple Sensation. Combining them in a border really prolongs your time enjoying the beautiful Spring allium! Plant these in Fall at the apropriate time for your zone. Ground temps should be staying at 50 or below for best results. Allium need at least 6 weeks of cold weather to form good roots. Pollinators absolutely love ornamental onions of all kinds. Globemaster allium are beautiful in fresh Spring arrangements, and also dried for everlasting arrangments! Hardy in zones 4-9. This listing is for a pack of 5 large bulbs. Globemaster bulbs are very large, so they come "halved" from the Holland wholesalers..totally normal! Some plants will be removed from their pots for shipping, soil lightly shaken from root ball. The roots are wrapped to maintain moisture, and the foliage will stay dry to prevent mold. Pot up your new plant and water well right after unboxing. Sometimes, larger plants will have to be trimmed to fit in a reasonably sized box. Keep in mind that while the plants are waiting to be sold, they grow, they are pruned, sometimes, they lose a branch to a storm ect., but they will come to you healthy. There could be a random leaf with a water spot, or a blemish where a bug snacked on it, but that's life when plants live outdoors, and also are not treated with strong pesticides. Most of you know this, but sometimes you have to state the obvious, right?! As a small scale grower, and because my prices are very reasonable, I can only offer refunds or replacements if: Your plant arrives on time, usually 3-4 days, but is dead. AND, you notify me within 24 hours of receiving, with at least 2 clear pictures. If I have another of that plant, you can opt for a replacement to be sent at no cost, or opt for a refund. Plants are living things. I grow them as healthy as I can, and pack them to the best of my ability, and they leave here happy...but, my reach doesn't extend through their shipping journey where they may encounter issues in transit that I unfortunately have no control or influence over. If you have any questions or problems with your order, let me know and I will try to make it right! Reviews always appreciated. Thanks for your consideration! Cheryl
