Description: Gler i Bergvík was the first hot-glass workshop in Iceland. It was established in 1982 by Sigrún Ó. Einarsdóttur and Søren S. Larsen, and run by Sigrun since 2003. This paperweight was made as a commemorative glass piece to celebrate the city of Reykjavik, Iceland’s 200 year anniversary in 1986. A 200 is shown in the glass in the form of a blue swan.
