Description: Gino Marchetti, the Hall of Fame NFL defensive end and offensive tackle was a partner in the chain of restaurants named Gino’s. This vintage photo of number 89 for the Baltimore Colts was on the front of the Gino’s menu. The reverse side lists the menu items, prices and other restaurant locations. My father said he used to eat at the Gino’s on York Road and this original menu is from around 1962. This menu card has always been in the family As you can see from the photos, this menu has seen some use, from creases to staining to extraneous spots. However, if you are from Baltimore in the 1960’s and/or you remember Gino’s and Gino Marchetti, then this keepsake will bring back wonderful memories of a simpler time when you simply ordered a hamburger (15 cents), fries (10 cents) and a Coke (10 cents).
