Some have shades of blue/green/goldpurple from the heat treatment process.I have seen some that are even gold colored!Most are a polished black gun metalor dark grey color with colors from the heat treatment process. This knife comes with a USED LOOK!It has various dings, dents throughout the blade.I am not a huge fan of the "distressed look" butthe good news is you don't need to worry about using the knife because it already looks used..
