Description: A really nice 12-1/2" faience platter or cake plate in the "Les Saveurs" pattern by Gien in France. The design is by by Marie-Pierre Boitard showing various cheeses, bread and wine. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks in the original box. It does show the tight surface crazing typical of faience pottery. The box has some age and storage wear. I also have 2 sets of matching dessert plates listed separately.
