With a full-sized maple top and mahogany back body and a mahogany neck, it features the powerful sound unique to Les Paul. With a solid sense of weight, it is good at creating a clear, extended low range and a hard, rock sound. With the standard "490R, 498T" humbucker setup that was also mounted on Les Paul Customs at the time, it outputs energetic sounds from blues to rock. There are signs of use that are appropriate for the age, such as scratches, dents, and paint damage.
