These notes are both circulated and have some or all of the following: heavy folding and wear (also may have many heavier creases and areas of wrinkled folding - 1904 note very heavily circulated); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also may have smudges, dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration); heavy edge and corner wear (includes corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in areas - 1904 note is very low grade); many edge indents/nicks (1904 note with many tears and many are larger); heavy surface wear and fraying (1904 note with many areas of paper loss); 1904 note with many holes/inner tears and many are larger; 1904 note with pieces missing due to very heavy wear.
