Description: This is a rare set of 12 local post issue stamps (Michel Catalogue # 1/12 complete) from Germany in 1946. The stamps are from the town of Finsterwalde and feature a variety of colors of the town music hall coat of arms. They have been well-preserved and are in excellent shape, with no hinges or folds with original gum. This diamond shape application of the gum was issued as a test to save on glue. This is a great addition to any stamp collection, especially for collectors interested in WWII and German history. The stamps are guaranteed genuine and come from Germany, where they were manufactured. Great set of stamps. 58/9
