Description: This Gerber one blade knife was made in Portland, Oregon. On the front side of the tang it states, “Gerber” and on the back side of the tang it states “Portland, OR, 97223 U.S.A.” There is a leather sheath with this knife and on the back of the sheath it states “Gerber, Portland, ORE, 97223, USA. The bolsters are brass, this knife is a lockback. When the blade is closed, this knife is about 4 1/4 inches long. When the blade is open, it is about 8 inches long. This knife was made between 1950 to about 1980. There is a little patina on the blade and the brass. I tried three different cleaners, but nothing really helped. The handles appear to be wood, but I am not sure. The reflections on the blades and bolsters are from my camera, they are not on the knife. Due to the grading system of some recent buyers, I am no longer listing knives as "Mint". This knife comes pretty close though, never used, carried or sharpened. On Bruce Voyles auction, this knife sold for $69.00 with no sheath. Here you can buy the knife and sheath for $39.00
