Description: Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. 1949 on copyright page. Not Book Club Edition. $3.00 on Dust jacket and no mention of Book of the month club. First edition, 2nd printing in dust jacket that was also used on first printing. Book itself is in very good condition for its age. Wear to cloth near spine ends on board ends. A little damp staining to cloth. Did not soak through to pages or endpapers. Small fold mark to top corner of ffep. Couple of very small dots on rear free endpaper. Otherwise, interior quite clean. Dust jacket does not reference book of the month club and has $3.00 on it. Spine slightly sun darkened. Wear, tears, and chipping, mostly to edges and near spine. Still very good for its age.
