Description: This 26 inch hand saw is marked with the G. Bishop Cincinnati etch and plated medallion. The No. 12 was near the top of their line, maybe two saw models priced higher in the time. The toe has a unique shape. I can see evidence that a nib was there, looks like a narrow one. The exact 26 inch blade and the centering of the etch lead me to believe this is the original length. I can't call it straight but it should be no problem for a saw Dr to tune it up, only a very slight bow with no kinks or dents, super smooth plate made the pictures hard, every fine scratch shows bright.
