Description: George Eastman [1854 1932] was an American entrepreneur who founded the Eastman Kodak Company in 1923 and was instrumental in bringing photographic use of roll film into the mainstream. Eastman served as the treasurer and the president of Kodiak and oversaw the expansion of the company and the film industry. After suffering from severe back pain, he committed suicide on March 14, 1932. Listed for auction is the autograph of George Eastman. The autograph is signed ''Geo Eastman'' in black fountain pen. The autograph was removed from a check and is in fine condition and will be accompanied with a typed letter on the letterhead of Eastman Kodak Company, dated August 24, 1945, which acknowledges the forwarding of the autograph.
