An amazing piece, 100% authentic and genuine, hand knit by the Coast Salish peoples of the Cowichan First Nations Band of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Hand knit in one piece using traditional tribal methods by members of the Coast Salish Nation using hand-spun, natural, raw, unprocessed, and undyed sheep's wool. This use of natural wool provides strong, stretchy sweaters that keep its shape while also being water repellent, stain resistant, and breathable due to the high lanolin content of natural wool. A combination of white, black, and grey sheep's wool creates the traditional pattern seen on the sweater. This particular sweater is in a more contemporary Snowflake design. These jackets can take over 20 hours to complete not including time for hand spun yarn production and are commissioned individually to be custom made to order.
