Size: 12 by 9 1/2 and actual picture without writing is 4 3/4 by 6 1/4 approximately General Myer was a surgeon and known as the father of both the U.S. Army Signal Corp. and the U. S. Weather Bureau . Condition: toning around edges, dirt around edges, bottom of engraving has tears at bottom corners but if you put in a mat you wont see much of this. See Photos. Would look great in an acid free mat and a black frame. Really nice engraved print. I have over 200 engravings from Electic magazine which my wife and I bought in Philadelphia. We thought we would open a print shop some day but decided not to that’s why we are selling. If you google these engravings a lot of collections have these in them. Library of congress sells copies of these engravings but this is an original. There are several photo copies of this engraving.
