Description: Genco Straight Razor w/ Price Box - in a rare tortoise shell handle The Geneva Shear Company was established 1900. It became the Geneva Cutlery Company in 1902. By 1912, Geneva was the largest maker of razors in the US. At its peak, Geneva produced 8,000 razors a day. The Genco trademark was used from 1916-1935. The company was purchased by the W.R. Case and Sons company, who used the Genco mark from 1936-1965. The blade condition is very good. Pivot: well centered and snug. Blade stamp: "Genco, Senior, Geneva NY USA” Scale/ handle is acrylic - in very good condition with minimal age-expected superficial scratches/dings - no chips or cracks. Box condition: good - as pictured - moderate scuffs. Note that this is a box for a PRICE razor, not Genco, but fits the Genco razor well. Please see all pictures for the best description of condition. Thank you.
