Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Gary (U.S.) Bonds titled "Havin' So Much Fun b/w Dear Lady Twist", originally released in 1961 by LeGrand Records with the B-Side titled "Dear Lady". After the success of Chubby Checker's "The Twist", it was reissued in 1962-63 with the B-Side titled "Dear Lady Twist. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. In the dead wax ,between the labels and the last tracks iis embossed a pin-prick dot, positioned to the left ofthe lacquer number, indicating that this single was made at Columbia Records' Bridgeport, Connecticut pressing plant. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, but still with surfaces without any smudges or scuffs. I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of occasional pops and low levels of surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find another single like this one, especially a Bridgeport pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
