Signed by Mr. Armani and has the Capodimonte stamp at base of sculpture. Made in Italy. Majestic and powerful is this beautiful sculpture. Sculpture was hand painted in full color matte finish. Sculpture is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks,no original box. Measures: 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/8" wide -wingspan. Wood Base measures: 4 1/8" square,no chips,I didn't notice any issues. D.Armani is known for extraordinary details and realism. In 1975, Mr. Armani accepted an offer from Florence Sculpture d'Arte,was working exclusively for their studio with complete artistic freedom. For the following 31 years he created beautiful masterpieces ranging from traditional Capodimonte styling to more modern, contemporary sculptures. Armani figurines, except for the most vintage ones, would be "signed in the mold". In addition, look for a painted "signature". This was done by Mr. Armani himself and would represent his approval of the figurine. These figurines are individually painted.The finishes done by the Florence Studios artists can make the same "model" look dramatically different and because they are hand painted, no two are exactly alike.
