Description: This listing is for 23 different "GAMES" magazine style books published between 1985 and 1988. This magazine was originally published by Playboy Enterprises for the first several years. Per Wikipedia: Throughout its publishing history, Games - and continuing with Games World of Puzzles - has differentiated itself from other puzzle magazines by its creative covers that are themselves puzzles, color sections containing feature articles and games, and a large variety of puzzle types, with wit and humor used throughout. Each issue contained feature articles and puzzles in its introductory color section, the "Pencilwise" puzzle section, board and video game reviews in its closing color section, and "Wild Cards". These books have been stored for years. They are in various states of condition with the early issues appearing to be well read and showing signs of staple pull. Many of the issues have mailing labels on the covers and a few have writing on the covers or on some of the puzzles in the Pencilwise sections (having been started or completed). Early issues show wear and having been read. Except for the Oct/Nov 1987 issue which is missing a few pages from the Pencilwise section, the books appear to be pretty complete.
