Description: Gaggenau Vario Downdraft ventilator: good used condition. I bought this from a dealer who had used it as an in-store demo unit. I bought this to go along with other Gaggenau Vario pieces most of which I used in my house. This ventilator was placed beside the Vario grille which I installed in the counter of my wife's new kitchen. It was used when I bought it and it has been stored now in my barn loft for many years. It was removed along with the grille when I did an additional kitchen remodel for my wife. It worked great: just drop into the prepared counter opening and plug the standard power cord into an outlet and it works great with terrific power. Cosmetically, the parts of the vent that are below the counter and never seen have some surface rust but the vent screen (shown in the photos) and the chrome top grate and other visible pieces are all in very good condition. This is a fully usable Gaggenau ventilator at a really cheap price considering how well it works. The photos were taken outside using an extension cord. No guarantees or warranty of course as this appliance is 30 years old but it will be fully operational when shipped. We are downsizing now to a retirement home and this and my other Gaggenau Vario units will not be used again by us.
