Brick-shaped, weight: 200 grams, year of production: 2023. In 2023, we decided to start a production of this exclusive tea in our striving to innovations. Harvested in the Menghai region, specifically from the village of 勐宋 Meng Song, the leaves come from ancient trees aged over a century. The quality of the raw tea material is exceptional, reflecting the pristine environment in which the tea trees thrive. Such kind of GABA Sheng puer which was undergoing the steam pressing has a distinctive difference from the loose leaf tea by its infusion appearance and taste. To enhance convenience, we pressed the tea into a brick shape resembling a chocolate bar. This form allows detaching portions for brewing much simpler. However, due to the firm compression, using a dedicated tea knife for separation of the portions for brewing is recommended. The taste profile of this GABA sheng puer has typical flavors of sheng Puer pntermingle with the characteristic GABA hints. Dried fruits, floral notes, and a delicate resinous undertone evoke the character of sheng puer, while the refreshing quality synonymous with GABA tea.
