The front door is 4" tall so it could also work well with slightly larger or smaller scales, such as 1:20.3, 1:29, the old American Flyer wide gauge, or the Lionel, Marx and MTH standard gauges. This cabin would also make a great addition to your Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint, or 1:24 die cast car and truck display. This shack is about 15 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" deep and the chimney is 11" tall. Built from Western Red Cedar, this weather resistant structure has been assembled using stainless steel and galvanized fasteners with waterproof adhesives throughout, then saturated with penetrating exterior stain/sealer for additional protection and a weathered look. Corrugated aluminum roof sheds water just like the real thing and has been painted for the look of rusting galvanized steel. Detailed windows and door feature clear acrylic window panes with curtains and blinds. All doors and windows are fixed in place and do not open or operate. Open base design allows interior to easily be lit. ( no lights included ) Perfect for diesel or steam layouts of any era. Shack includes the 2 - benches, 2 - firewood piles, 1 - barrel, 1- bucket, 1 - triangle dinner bell, 1 - fishing pole, 1 - fishing creel, 1 - fishing net and 1 - lantern shown in the photos.
