Tiger Electronics Warranty on this item expired 23 years ago. So, if you plan on opening it to hear that cute Furbish, hopefully it will work, but it's certainly no guarantee. (I bought them new and have had them stored in full cases since 1998, so I don't know how any could be better... it's just been a long time.) I'm here to help! I tested one myself and the batteries out of my remote didn't work, but brand new ones and it fired right up! There are also several videos on YouTube showing how to get them working.
