The knit weave technique is foten overlooked and many knitters don't realize their machines will do it. It is very easy and you can get many very interesting garments using some of the variations of knit weave such as smocking, vertical embroidery and lace weave as well as the many all over designs. If you have never tried knit weave, check in your manual for the basic directions for your particular machine. The Studio machines have the advantage of the automatic weaving arm available as an accessory which elminiates the need to switch the weaving yarn from side to side as you knit. On the other hand Brother machines has the advantage of the pattern needles coming forward which makes it much easier to do the things like isolated weaving and vertical embroidery. All the items in this book can be knit on any machine that does weaving. I have used Tamm astracryl for the knitting yarn in most of the patterns but any yarn can be used as long as you match the gauge. You could also use double strands of 2/24. Most of the patterns use a 4 ply as the weaving yarn. . Excellent book. Please ask all questions before bidding as all sales are final.
