It is beautifully bound in a dark green pebbled cloth with blind embossing on the front cover as well as raised parchment scroll with wheat sheaf embossing in gold on the front cover and spine with the title on this raised portion. Nice (looks like hand laid) endpapers as well as a rubricated title page, with the author on the opposite page. Note please that we have TWO of these first edition. The first buyer will get the one that is in the best condition. The second one is quite nearly as nice, while just having a few pages of light pencil notations. The hinges are a little more worn on this second one. 298 pages. 5" BY 7-1/2"
