Frieda Mierse (1911 - 1983) was a Ziegfeld showgirl and actress. She was Miss New York 1927 and was among the top 15 runners-up in the 1927 Miss America Pageant. She was married to actor Ed Wynn 1937-1939. She performed in the Florence Ziegfeld production of WHOOPEE! at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York (Dec 04, 1928 - Nov 23, 1929). She also performed in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1931, and other Broadway productions. She was also photographed by Alfred Cheney Johnston.
