Description: SUPERIOR OFFICIER'S - ARTILLERY SHAKO - JULY MONARCHY Black felt shako with black leather top and visor. Attached to the front of the shako is a tricolor metal cockade, two crossed stamped cannon barrels and flaming bomb button. A braided cord attaches a crossed cannon button to the rear of the shako. The shako has its original leather interior liner. This is tall shako the back measures approx.10" high and the front approx. 9" high. The ivory horsehair plumb is not original to the shako.
