Description: Turned horn band at the butt, British Seal engraved on the body of the horn. Screw filler and pouring neck. 15 1/2 inches long, 2 7/8 inches diameter at butt. Superb work by an unknown artist (not unknown any more, it was Art DeCamp) in 2013. Beautiful piece for use or decoration. Just got this info from Mr. DeCamp who made the powder horn. He gave permission to post it to the listing. "Dear Sir, I saw this listing on eBay and recognize this horn as one that I made back in 2013. I can provide photos I took of it when it was completed in February 2013 and know who I sold it to back then. There will be a signature on this horn just below the horn band. The signature is small but will say "AJD - MMXIII" for my initials and the roman numerals of the year it was made.
