Item is absolutely gorgeous and captures the hand carved detailing as well as hundreds of years of wear/imperfections. Since it is genuine plaster, it is only suitable for indoors. It can be painted or gel stained. Some have used these as panel inserts to create an old-world look in their homes. Other have displayed it on living room shelves as a conversation piece.
