Description: Sparkletastic piece of glass attributed to Baccarat of France. My research indicates that these unmarked examples from the company are pre-1920 production. A truly fabulous luxury jewelry casket that features a cross-hatch diamond cut pattern to both the base and domed lid. The pieces are joined by ormolu mounts that include a stationary handle and working lock, with original key. The base has the trademark Baccarat cut starburst design. Weighs nearly 5lbs. In very good condition for age/use appropriate antique condition. Some numbers are scribbled on the handle, it`s hard to read all the numbers. I don`t see any damages.
