WARRANTY POLICY Most products sold by Fred Auto Parts come with a 12-month or 20,000km warranty, whichever comes first. For KINFOR products, the warranty extends to 24 months or 40,000km. Or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original tax invoice. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, we will replace or refund, at our discretion, any new part that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use after proper installation. Warranty Conditions The warranty will be VOID if the part is NOT fitted by a licensed and qualified mechanic. Proof of fitment may be required when making a warranty claim. WARRANTY PROCEDURE To make a warranty claim: The replacement part must be purchased and paid for in full before it can be taken from the shop. The failed part must be returned to Fred Auto Parts, where it will be sent to the manufacturer for inspection. The manufacturer will determine if it should be repaired, replaced, or rejected. If the manufacturer agrees to replace the part and a new replacement has already been purchased, a refund will be issued. If the manufacturer opts to repair the part, it will be returned to you after the repair. If the claim is rejected, the failed part can be returned to you, but no refund will be provided. An original invoice from Fred Auto Parts must be presented when making a warranty claim. This is non-negotiable. Additional Important Information This limited warranty does not cover labor costs or incidental damages, including physical injuries, property damage, or loss of vehicle use.
