Description: Fratelli Reguitti Italian Valet Stand Light Walnut Colour A valet stand in a matt light walnut finish, designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Requitti. These were produced from the 1940s through to the 1960s. It is especially suitable for small apartments being very light, compact, and practical. Made from beechwood and set on 4 small wheels, with a hanger for your jacket and shirt, a separate rail above for trousers, shoes on the lowest rungs, 'ears' for ties/belts and a shelf for keys, phone etc. The FR monogram is on the top support. A wonderfully clever design by Parisi, practical and stylish today. The valet will be flat-packed for shipping. Re-assembly is easy and simple requiring just a screwdriver, easy. Ico Parisi (Domenico Parisi 1916–1996) was an Italian architect and designer, based in Como. He designed furniture as well as numerous decorative art objects using materials such as ceramics and glass. Size: about 105 cm high, 45 cm across the coat holder, base is 35 x 33 cm, weight ±2.2 Kg Condition Very good vintage condition, two small colour losses — one to the reverse of the centre of the coat holder, the other to one end, see photos. The stand has been cleaned, the finish revived and all scuffs removed, the timber presenting in very good used condition. Please examine the pictures as they are part of the description.
