Description: This is a beautiful vintage Italian cookie jar. It is unmarked, so please use your own judgments with the maker of this jar. It is quite a heavy solid piece. This lovely cookie jar depicts a carousel. There are a few chips on the underside of the lid, but this could be displayed with those turned to the back. Otherwise, this jar is in good condition with no other chips or cracks. The colors are fantastic with a brilliant orange as the pop of brightness. The inside of this jar looks messy with a variety of bumps, etc, but this jar was made like that, and those are glazed bumps part of the original making of this jar.
