Cast from the artist made mold, the sculpture is crafted in fine pewter, the traditional metal of colonial America. They are marked on the bottom with the name, fine pewter, 1975 and The Franklin Mint. It also has (4) small green felt pads on the bottom to keep it stationary and from scratching the surface where it is displayed.
