This is a three-phase pump that is normally ordered with a VFD that is mounted on top of it along with a pressure switch. The package would then be self-contained and as pressure drops the VFD makes the pump spin faster. This listing is for the pump only and does not include the VFD or pressure switch. A pump can be used as a replacement for a Franklin/Little Giant system, a customer can add their own VFD or it could be used with a three-phase power source with no VFD.
