Description: Francis Morley Aurora Red Transferware Tea Cup & Saucer Circa 1845 - 1858 B Pearlware tea cup and saucer decorated in the Aurora pattern in red transferware. Made by Francis Morley between 1845 and 1858. The saucer is marked on the bottom Aurora. Has crazing typical of pearlware. The cup has a tight 1 3/8 inch crack extending off the lip. The saucer has overall staining of the type that may soak out and a 1 inch tight crack extending off the edge. The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide x 2 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the displayof the piece. BS
