Description: Francis Morley Aurora Green Pearlware Transferware 9 1/4" Plate Circa 1845 - 58 Pearlware plate decorated in the Aurora pattern in green transferware. With hand colored flowers and leaves in blue, green, yellow and red. Made by Francis Morley between 1845 and 1858. Marked on the bottom Aurora. Has knife marks & usage wear consistent with age. Also has staining to the front of the type that may soak out, mostly along the edge and several spots of staining to the back. It has a 1 1/8 inch tight crack extending off the edge and a long Y shaped hairline on the back. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. HTAX
