The painting comes directly from the Boston Art Club, which handled the artist's estate of Santa Barbara paintings, and is identified as such on the verso along with the Club's Francis Draper, Jr. archives inventory number 84. It is in very good condition with no apparent defects and is housed in a new gilt wood frame that is also in very good condition. We purchased this painting directly from the Boston Art Club a number of years ago, and it has remained in our private collection ever since.
