Description: This is the rank tab, called a “galon” for a Commandant (equivalent to a Lt Colonel 05) from the French Armée de l’Air (Air Force) worn on the flight suit including the Blouson PN" (Personnel Navigant or “aircrew”), “Blouson de vol” (flight jacket) or "Blouson de la Dotation". It attaches with Velcro. New, unissued. These are extremely difficult to find and usually come with high shippimg from Europe. If you have a French leather flight jacket this is the icing on the cake.
